By registering, browsing, or listing on our Platform, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these terms, whether or not you become a registered user.
2. User Responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration or listing.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
- Any misuse, false listings, or illegal activities will result in termination of your access.
3. Booking and Transactions
- All bookings, payments, and cancellations are processed through secure third-party gateways integrated with WooCommerce.
- Each listing (homestay, event, rental, etc.) has its own terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and availability.
- Users must check and agree to individual listing terms before confirming any booking.
4. Listings by Hosts and Vendors
- All hosts must provide accurate descriptions, pricing, availability, and contact details.
- We reserve the right to verify, reject, or remove any listing that violates platform guidelines or misleads users.
- Hosts are solely responsible for the services, safety, and quality provided under their listings.
5. Commission and Fees
- We may charge a commission or service fee on each transaction. This will be transparently communicated during onboarding or setup.
- The platform may update its commission model with prior notice.
6. User Conduct
- You agree not to misuse the platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
- Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or spamming in any form is strictly prohibited.
- We reserve the right to remove accounts or listings that violate community guidelines or legal policies.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Refunds are governed by the refund policy mentioned in individual listings.
- If a service provider cancels a booking or fails to deliver, full or partial refunds may apply.
- Explore Traditional Northeast does not guarantee refunds unless specified in the listing or required by law.
8. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
- All logos, texts, images, and branding elements are the intellectual property of Traditional NorthEast Pvt. Ltd.
- Users and hosts may not copy, distribute, or reuse content from the platform without written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
- We act solely as a marketplace connecting users with service providers and hosts.
- We are not responsible for damages, losses, or issues arising from a service or product booked through the platform.
- Users agree to release Explore Traditional Northeast from any claims related to third-party listings or interactions.
10. Privacy Policy
By using our platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.
11. Modifications
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam.
